Hi all, something that I've been thinking about lately is my transition from somebody who made mediocre (un)masking sequences to somebody who makes mask stand pieces and captions. I know that if you've been following me for a long time, you might be a bit disappointed that I've moved away from that, and I do feel bad about it. Lately I have been thinking about getting back into my older style, if not fixing the garbage I made when I was first starting out, so hey, you never know when I could possibly switch things up again. Never say never, right?
However, over the years, I've gotten a lot busier (work and life and all the stuff in between), so my motivation to spend time on finding images to use for sequences has gone downhill. Combined with the facts that a) where I live abroad has blocked the usual sites to find images (I am aware I can use a VPN, but still), b) I don't have the time nor the energy to spend 2-4 hours searching for pics that I may/may not use, and c) I really want to make stuff that I like myself, it's why I've put a hold on longer, somewhat more intricate pieces. I'm sorry if this has alienated a decent amount of you, but in the past, I spent my time making things people requested and/or suggested, which honestly made me realize I want to make things more for what *I* personally want. Does that mean I've gotten less ambitious? Not really. I just have minimal time to spend creating pieces, and I want to utilize that to the fullest.
So, that being said, I hope this helps people at least understand why I've been churning out relatively simple things. I'm not going to be saying "no" to ideas and whatnot, but my time as somebody who you can trust to go in-depth for pieces is over; there are plenty other artists who've taken over. I'll still be working on stuff, but I've always wanted to write caps, as a way of having more room to work with. Okay, update over. Finally, thank you guys so, so much for liking all the dumb stuff I've made--that support absolutely keeps on pushing me to continue with this hobby!
Hi all, as some of you may have noticed, I've been producing a *ton* of caps recently. The reason behind that is I've simply found a lot of good source images to use/they've been allowing me to write a bit more. If you've seen some ones on my blog, you already know I've done some lengthier ones; I've even stayed up til after 2 in the morning working on them. I also want to address the lack of manips, as I feel like I'm straying a bit from my main focus. Simply put, the reason for this is twofold: I haven't had any really good, tempting images to work with, and I've frankly been feeling too tired to do the lengthy digging needed to start the process. If anybody has stuff they'd like to see me try and work with, send me a note! Anyways, I've got a lot on my pate for things I want to do, but just know I highly appreciate all the support from you guys. Hope this cleared some things up as well.
Apparently anything "mature" and showing nudity has been flagged to where you get a message "Sorry, you are unable to view this content" message. That doesn't hit me as bad as some others, but I want to apologize to anybody who's missing out on the older stuff here. Thankfully I have my blog where I upload the same stuff (and even special ones!) at conesysworks.blogspot.com. So, for the time being, you can find the archive of stuff there while DA continues to bumble.
